HOW DO I COMPLETE THE COURSE WORK?
Our driver education program will begin with the Driver Education section. The reading will direct you as to what to read, where to locate answers, which exercises to complete, and when to take the tests. The courses may be done entirely online or via the mailed booklet.

DOES YOUR COURSE INCLUDE A DMV PRACTICE TEST TO IMPROVE MY CHANCES OF PASSING?
Yes. After they have completed the course, all students are given the option (at no additional charge) to enroll in our highly effective DMV Practice Test Prep Course. You may complete up to ten closed book tests, to get a "feel" for the actual DMV program. The practice tests are comprised of random questions, so topics will vary. A score of 90% or higher is passing, and students have five attempts to pass each test. Our course, along with our effective DMV Practice Tests, will help to prepare you for your DMV test and will have you on the road in no time!

WHEN DO I GET MY CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION?
Upon course completion, students under 18 years of age will be issued a Driver Education Completion Certificate DL 387. Certificates are processed within 10 business days of your completion date and sent to you via U.S. Mail. When you receive your certificate, simply take it to a DMV office to receive your driver's permit. NOTE: If a student does not qualify for or successfully complete this course, a completion certificate will NOT be issued.

IS YOUR DRIVER EDUCATOR'S LICENSE CURRENT AND VALID? WILL MY CERTIFICATE BE ACCEPTED BY THE DMV?
Teendrivingonline.com is a DMV-approved and licensed driver education course, and our Driver Education Completion Certificate DL 387 will be accepted at any DMV office.

IS YOUR CERTIFICATE ACCEPTED IN OTHER STATES BESIDES CALIFORNIA?
Our course is specific to California. In the past, however, the Nevada DMV has accepted our completion certificates. Before taking the course, check with the Nevada DMV (email to info@dmv.state.nv.us or click here for a list of phone numbers) to see if they will accept the certificate. WHAT IS THE GRADING POLICY AND HOW DOES TESTING WORK?
A student must score 80% or higher on every section in order to pass the course. Re-tests are allowed if an average of 80% is not initially achieved. The parent or guardian of a minor student must proctor the tests and certify that the student completed the test without assistance. Students must not have access to any of the testing materials until the corresponding sections have been completed. (Adult students do not have this requirement.)

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM?
Programs must be completed and received by TeenDrivingOnline.com no later than 30 days from the date materials were first accessed.

I'M 15 YEARS AND 1 MONTH; CAN I TAKE YOUR COURSE?
Yes, you may begin the course now. This is a good time to begin your course because it will give you time to complete the online driver education course and get the certificates you need to present to DMV after you turn 15 ½ years old. We also give you FREE access to our DMV Test Prep course after you finish our online driver education course. So, if you are at least 15 years old, you may begin our course now.

DO YOU HAVE RUSH SERVICES AVAILABLE?
UPON COMPLETION OF YOUR COURSE, I AM HOPING TO EXPEDITE GETTING THE DMV DRIVER EDUCATION COMPLETION CERTIFICATE DL 387 (a form we send that you will need to turn into the DMV to receive your Driver's permit)
Yes, you may order expedite processing & mailing services. The rates are as follows:
$25 — Regular processing (up to 10 business days to process), but the certificate goes out overnight.
$35 — Orders that are placed before noon (Monday - Friday) are shipped that day. Orders placed after noon will be shipped the next business day

AM I STILL REQUIRED TO TAKE A DMV WRITTEN EXAM TO RECEIVE MY LEARNER'S PERMIT EVEN THOUGH I GET A PROOF OF ATTENDANCE FROM YOU?
Yes, the student still has to complete the DMV written exam after finishing teendrivingonline.com. Our course is identical to any classroom Drivers Education program. We follow the same procedures. The student will take our course, complete the courses and quizzes. Then the student will receive a certificate. That certificate allows the student to take the written exam at the DMV. Without our certificate proving your completion of a driver’s education course, you will not be allowed to take the written exam without one of these drivers’ education completion certificates.
